Becoming a Chef
Today, Charity Caldwell came in to do the careers class on Becoming a Chef. They learned about the different places a chef can work. For example, chefs can work on private planes, in hotels, and can own their own catering business. They learned about the different reasons why people may want to become chefs, and what kinds of foods chefs like to cook. They also learned the answer to a new riddle, “Take off my skin and I won’t cry, but you will. What Am I?” Ask your student what the answer is! After a powerpoint presentation, they learned how to make and roll out homemade pasta. They loved this special visit from Chef Caldwell!
