Sea to Sky Gondola Field Trip

Field trip day started out with high excitement early in the morning! All the grade 2/3 class arrived on time and we all set off to Sea to Sky Gondola. The Lord blessed us with good weather and smooth traffic. Throughout the day we did several small hikes, the first being to Shannon Falls. The Gondola was a new experience for most of the students and the excitement kept growing. Jenny, our tour guide, proved engaging and informative about so many things of the wildlife in the forest, including cougars, woodpeckers, bears, cougars, eagles, frogs and Chipmunks. With so much to see and do the time flew by. Crossing the suspension bridge was a highlight and finishing up doing catapults and playing on the playground, before heading back down to Gondola. Was a fun filled, informative trip that all the children enjoyed immensely. Personally I was very proud of the childrens level of attentiveness and behavior. Here is a number of photos to enjoy!
