Word for the Week: Positive

The Word for this week is Positive. I am wanting to help the kids think more positive and to have a positive outlook of themselves. We have also been working on being positive to others. I felt like this word went along with what we talked about in health on self-identity and self-esteem.

Bible Scripture

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8 KJV

“God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.”   2 Samuel 22:33 KJV

Bro. Branham Quotes

David said, “I’ll go fight him, and today I’ll cut his head off.” No uncertainty. Wasn’t David; it was God in him. It was that hidden Power. Not a bit of uncertainty. All positive. No negative.

That’s—that’s my theme, is love. Law works fear. Law is negative; works is negative. But love is positive. See? It’s absolutely positive. You can trust anybody when they love you, not because they fear you, but because they love you.

And that’s how I trust Him, because I know He loves me. And it’s a love affair, and not a works affair, or fear, and if, and if, and if, and if, there’s no “if” to it. God’s done it, and that settles it. So I love Him for it.
