Gilbert was first nominated to the BCA board in 2013. Before moving into full time IT Consulting in Canada, Gilbert was the Business Automation Manager in Saudi Telecoms - the largest Telecommunications Company in the Middle East with over 20,000 employees. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and MS in IT from the University of Liverpool in UK. He is also a certified Cisco and Microsoft Professional.
Norm has been on the BCA Board since 2006. Previously, he has been a Board of Directors as a Lafarge representative for 3 partially owned companies of Lafarge. After retiring from Lafarge as the Vice President of Product Development and Quality Assurance for Western Canada, Norm came to teach Science, Mathematics, and Physics at BCA. Norm has a BS in Science and Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a registered Professional Engineer
Wes has been on the BCA Board for three years. He has also spent several years on the church and trustee boards of Cloverdale Bibleway in BC and Evening Light Fellowship in Arizona. Wes spent several years as a Training and Development Manager before retiring from the position. Currently, Wes is working as a Licensed Realtor in Washington State.
This is Mark’s fourth year on the BCA Board. Mark has spent 29 years in the kiln drying profession and has been a Kiln Supervisor / Millwright for a lumber drying facility for 24 years. Mark also went to college for computer programming and is well-versed in many areas of computer technology, as well as a jack-of-all-trades in electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation.
Michael has been involved with BCA for over 6 years and has held various positions on both the PAC and Board over this period of time. Michael has various work backgrounds in business administration and audio/visual communications. He joins the team of at BCA for the 2016/17 school year with a renewed passion to achieve a new level of school spirit and help connect both staff and parents to attain BCA's future goals.
