Working on Books in Computer Class

The kids are working hard on writing their stories, using their animals as the main characters. I have been impressed so far with the ideas and typing abilities of the kids! Looking forward to seeing the books they come up with!

Animal Power Point Presentations

Careers – Optometrist Assistant

In Careers Sis Rachel Waldner presented a well put together slideshow of her career choice. The children learnt all about optometry and the role she plays in the office. The education, salary, benefits and duties of the assistant.

Journal entries: My Goals…

The students have each started a classroom journal in order to work on handwriting. They have been doing really well, learning things like indenting for new paragraphs. Today, their journal entry included setting goals and how they are going to meet them.

Pointillism Art

Learning and experimenting with ‘Pointillism’ in art. Using the eraser on end of pencils with water colors.  Creating fall time trees.
