Outdoor Exploration in Science

Tuesday’s Science Class was filled with excitement as we got to explore the ecosystem around our school. We found a lot of cool things while exploring for producers, consumers, and decomposers. All the kids really enjoyed this lesson outside and learning outdoors in the beautiful Northwest! 🙂

Silent Reading with Leveled Readers

The kids have started silent reading on certain days after lunch. They also read when they finish all their jobs. Most of the students are on leveled readers and slowly move up to harder leveled reading as the year progresses.
