Working on Books in Computer Class

The kids are working hard on writing their stories, using their animals as the main characters. I have been impressed so far with the ideas and typing abilities of the kids! Looking forward to seeing the books they come up with!

Best Dressed for Hat and Weird Sock Day

Butterfly Pointillism Art

          Today the kids got to do pointillism art again. This time they did butterflies and made creative designs on their butterflies. We also discussed/reviewed what we learned earlier in the year about the life cycle of butterflies.

Lunch & PE at Don Christian Park Today!

Today the Grades 2-5 went to the Don Christian park for lunch and lunch recess. Was fun to enjoy the sun and play on a different playground. The Grade 2’s left with Miss Leonard, while the Grade 3-5 PE class enjoyed some baseball in the sun. Was an awesome day! The PE class played great! …

Animal Power Point Presentations

Today, the kids did their animal power point presentations. Next week, they will write narratives using their animals as the main character. I have attached some pictures and some short videos. The kids have worked really hard on presentations and I am so proud of them. IMG_3207 IMG_3214 IMG_3215

We started our new unit on Geometry. The Grade 3’s made their own sculptures using different shapes and then added up all the sides of the shapes. Lots of fun learning about polygons!
